Yeah, I’m not dead. So here’s something on The Great War

Bookmarks seem to be quite the topic of choice at the moment, what with Yahoo deciding to trash Delicious, then deciding no, they were just selling it, when the PR became all a bit brown-and-sticky meets the mobile air-cooling-device for them.

So looks like I’m going to have to resurrect ze Wee Bits of Weird and post my links up on here again. Which is fine. That’s what it’s for. And it never really went away, I just got lazy, really. Yeah, I know, who wudda thunk it.

Anyway, here’s a brilliant link I’ve only just discovered through Twitter:
http://www.ewmanifold.blogspot.com/

It’s the Diary of EW Manifold, WW1

The brief is such: “Edward Walford Manifold was born on 28th April 1892 and grew up in the Western District of Victoria. He travelled to England to join the Royal Field Artillery when World War I broke out. Day by day, this blog publishes his letters home and the entries he made in his diaries, from 1915 when he was first sent to France until 1918 when his service ends.”

Follow the blog on Twitter: as @manifold1418

So anyway, I’m back. Yeah, hai. No bugger off, I’ve got other things to do.
